A key to our success in creating a safe and caring community are joint initiatives, which allow the FMSPCA to provide a wide variety of essential services with a greater positive-impact on the region as a whole. Such programs include The Pet Food Bank, which provides community members with pet food

for their companion animals in order to assist families and individuals in caring for their pets and contribute as a preventative measure to companion animals becoming homeless.

The Pet Food Bank Program is run completely by generous donations from the community. Thank you to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo for your continued support of the Pet Food Bank Program.

PET FOOD BANK GUIDELINES:

· Pet Food Bank appointments are strongly encouraged to help us ensure we have food readily available for those in need. Please be advised that the Pet Food Bank program is supplied by community donors. At times, we may not have food available.

· Participants must show government ID and fill out Pet Food Bank paperwork once they arrive at the FMSPCA. Information collected is used to track usage of the Pet Food Bank Program.

· We are unable to accommodate special requests for food. Staff will try to work with you on your request, but we are unable to fully commit to certain food requests. We appreciate your understanding.

· Program participants are allowed to utilize the program every thirty (30) days. You will receive the appropriate amount of food upon your visit, which should last you until your next appointment.
