ASAP Program

The Animal Safety and Awareness Program (ASAP) was developed using this philosophy to raise awareness, educate, and safeguard the youngest members of our community specific to our region through its approach and subject content that promotes an understanding of the human responsibility to care for and about all living things. Teachers and educators from K–6 can submit a request for an in-class session, or alternative arrangements can be made for a fieldtrip to the FMSPCA.

A child and youth humane education program that builds kindness towards animals and people for strong, safe communities.

Each session can be tailored to each educator’s requirements, but students can expect to be led through an engaging session that helps protect, educate, and promote kindness to animals and teaches the importance of animal welfare/protection in our community.

With the support of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, we are proud to provide humane education across Wood Buffalo.
