Abby was abandoned in -30 weather, so we knew nothing of her first 8month. She came to us afraid of men, squat and pee when scared, hated car rides. However from the moment I spotted her behind that cage I knew she was meant to be mine. Abby was the BEST girl, smart, spunky personality, loved her stuffies (she had 20 at last count) , she was my cuddle muffin, always at me feet wherever I went in the house or outside in the summer. She loved camping trips, swimming at the lake, car rides, her family, carrots, romaine lettuce, treats and had an amazing, happy, very loved and spoiled life for the 12 years I was blessed to have my best friend, confidant, fur baby She slept with me for the last 12 years, sometimes the kids, but mostly me. We always said she was our family pet but in reality I was her Human and she was my fur baby. Sadly December 16, 2021 I had to say goodbye to her, she died in my arms at home. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I am feeling so lost without her, I know time will ease this. We are newly empty nesters so the loss is felt that much more. One day I will visit the SPCA and again welcome another fur baby into our home and Hearts thank you for all you do. The pictures included are of the day we found our sweet Abby and the day before she passed away.
